I’m Professor of Strategy at HEC Paris and an Associate Fellow of Oxford’s Saïd Business School. I study decision-making, particularly applied to business strategy, and how AI impacts it. Before that, 25 years at McKinsey, where I was a Senior Partner leading the Global Strategy Practice.

With Daniel Kahneman and Cass Sunstein I wrote Noise: A Flaw in Human Judgment, a New York Times bestseller; You’re About to Make a Terrible Mistake! won France’s 2019 prize for best management book. I advise leaders and boards on how they decide.
