Shivani Siroya

I'm Shivani Siroya, founder and CEO of Tala. Tala builds credit infrastructure that helps people in emerging markets with little or no formal borrowing history access financial services that fit their lives.

Before Tala, I worked at the UN Population Fund interviewing thousands of microcredit users across South Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa. That fieldwork ultimately inspired Tala. I studied at Weleyan, and started my career working in health economics at Citi, UBS, and Credit Suisse.
