Sheila Haggerty

I'm Sheila Haggerty, Associate Director of the Nelson Center for Entrepreneurship at Brown University. Before I came to Brown in 2011, I helped establish and run Quest Montessori School. In true startup fashion, I wore many hats there: Admissions Director, Business Manager, cross-country team coach, and board member. At Brown, I spent six years as Department Manager for the Visual Art Department, supporting faculty and students, before joining the Nelson Center. Today I help lead the Center's operations, academic programs, and student ventures. My roots are in art. I hold a BA in printmaking and a Master's in Art History and Museum Training, worked at the Corcoran and Reynolda House, and have advised companies on building art collections and artists on building business practices. Outside work, I enjoy cycling, hiking, and reading.
