I'm Rick, co-founder of Crosscut Ventures, an early-stage firm investing in Los Angeles startups.

I grew up in Decatur, Illinois, studied at Harvard Law, and started Crosscut in 2008. Today I work with early teams building enduring businesses across LA's technology community. Outside work, I make time for my family and enjoy working in the garden.
