University of Wollongong in Dubai (UOWD) is the first international Australian university in the UAE and the UAE's oldest private university. Established in 1993, it offers over 40 internationally accredited degrees across 10 industry sectors, serving over 3,500 students from 108 nationalities. It is a branch campus of the University of Wollongong (Australia) and part of a global network with campuses in Australia, Hong Kong, and Malaysia. The university is accredited by the UAE Ministry of Education's Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA) and licensed by Dubai's Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA).
