Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology

There are places that teach you skills. And then there are spaces that shape who you become. At Thapar Institute, learning isn’t just about what you know — it’s about who you grow into. Established in 1956, Thapar has always been more than an institution. It’s a living ecosystem of minds — engineers, designers, dreamers, doers — who believe the future isn’t something to wait for, but something to build, together. Offering undergraduate, postgraduate, and Ph.D. programs across Engineering, Computer Science, Biotechnology, Material Science, Energy and Environment, Management, Behavioral Sciences, and emerging interdisciplinary domains.
