SUNY Downstate Medical Center

SUNY Downstate is home to five schools and colleges and University Hospital of Brooklyn. We are New York City's only SUNY academic medical center. Founded in 1860, it is the only academic medical center in Brooklyn, serving 2.3 million residents. The institution comprises five schools (College of Medicine, College of Nursing, School of Graduate Studies, School of Health Professions, School of Public Health) and University Hospital at Downstate.
