Shahjalal University of Science and Technology

Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) was established in 1986 as the first university of its kind in Bangladesh. It officially began its journey on 13 February 1991 with just three departments—Physics, Chemistry, and Economics—alongside 13 teachers and 205 students. SUST now comprises 7 schools, 27 departments, and 3 institutes, and offers undergraduate and graduate education alongside research activities.
