Indian Institute of Forest Management (IIFM), Bhopal, established in 1982 under the aegis of IIM Ahmedabad, is an autonomous sectoral management institute under the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Government of India. It is a premier institute in South Asia dedicated to education, research, consultancy, and training in forest and natural resource management. IIFM offers programs including Post Graduate Diploma in Forestry Management, Sustainability Management, and other specialized courses, and serves as a think tank on public policy, global environment issues, and sustainable development.
