Established in 1993, Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB) is the leading private university in Bangladesh with an explicit focus on research and global partnerships. It has an enrollment of around 10,000 undergraduate and graduate students, more than 450 highly-qualified faculty members (47% with PhD degrees), and an alumni base of close to 14,000. IUB aims to promote education to support sustainable inclusive development in Bangladesh.
