Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Shibpur (IIEST Shibpur) is a public technological research university located at Shibpur, Howrah district, West Bengal, India. It is recognized as an Institute of National Importance under the Ministry of Education, Government of India. Established in 1856, it is India's second-oldest engineering college. The institute offers bachelor's, master's and doctorate degrees in engineering and architecture as well as master's and doctorate degrees in science and management.
