Trustees of Hampshire College

Hampshire College is a private liberal arts college in Amherst, Massachusetts, established in 1965 as an experiment in alternative education. Known as original disruptors of higher education, the college challenges students to design their own programs of study, supported by narrative evaluations rather than grades. It is a member of the Five College Consortium and fosters intellectual exploration, collaboration, and experimentation.
