Elmira Business Institute (EBI) is a career college founded in 1858, offering accelerated career-centered training with certificate and associate degrees in Business, Legal, and Medical programs. Programs include Accounting, Medical Assisting, Medical Coding & Reimbursement Specialist, Medical Office Technologies, and a Medical Coding & Billing certificate. The institution was accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS) and approved by the New York Board of Regents to confer Associate in Occupational Studies degrees. The school had campuses in Elmira and Vestal, New York, and permanently closed in 2024.
