Chinese American International School

Chinese American International School (CAIS) is an independent, co-educational, preschool through 8th grade Mandarin immersion school located in San Francisco, California. Founded in 1981, it was the first Mandarin immersion school in the United States. The school is committed to inspiring and empowering learners to embrace Chinese, become their best selves, and contribute to a better world. CAIS has a 5.4-acre campus at 3250 19th Avenue, San Francisco, and enrolls approximately 556 students with 88 teachers.
