Howard University School of Divinity (HUSD) is a unique and irreplaceable graduate theological school that engrafts the spirit of excellence in learning and service. It is one of the 14 schools and colleges within Howard University and the only African-American theological school connected to a comprehensive category I research institution. Founded in 1870, it offers degrees including MDiv, MDIV/MSW, MDIV/MBA, and Doctor of Ministry. The school is fully accredited since 1938 and affiliated with the Association of Theological Schools. It is located in Washington, DC, and led by Dean Kenyatta R. Gilbert, PhD.
