Manel Velasco Mairal

I'm Manel, CEO and co-founder currently building at Numerand and working on a stealth HR talent marketplace venture. I worked as a founders associate and venture builder at Antai Ventures where I launched startups, evaluated business models, screened founders, and created investment theses across healthcare, vSaaS, and generative AI. Before that I founded Saffeways and Safe Tracker, building mobile apps focused on safer routes and bike routing, and I did corporate development work digitizing data and supporting strategic planning at the Royal European Academy of Doctors.

And my hot take is people overcomplicate hiring platforms when simple market validation beats feature lists every time.
