I'm Luis, building and investing in solutions for AI alignment, safety, and existential risk reduction at the Institute for Security and Technology and elsewhere. I work on technical standards, roadmaps, and prototypes to harden AI systems, and I have invested in and led technology companies across telecom, cloud services, and cybersecurity, including roles at Servnet Mexico, Arroyo Capital, iNBest.cloud, and earlier CTO positions in government and private sector. I am a network member of the United Nations University Artificial Intelligence Network and studying a Master of Science at Johns Hopkins while preparing for corporate directorship studies at Harvard Business School.
