Lorraine K. Lee

I'm Lorraine K. Lee, Founder & CEO of RISE Learning Solutions. For years I did strong work, stayed prepared, and waited my turn, and I watched others move ahead while I stayed invisible. At LinkedIn, my dream job, I never made the jump past mid-level. So at my next company, Prezi, I told my manager my goal, started managing up, and made my work visible instead of waiting for it to be noticed. Within a year, I was promoted to Director. Now I share those lessons through keynotes, my book Unforgettable Presence, and courses on LinkedIn Learning and at Stanford Continuing Studies.

Ask me about getting seen by the people who decide promotions.
