Jessica Chang

I'm Jessica Chang, CEO and Co-Founder of Upwards, where we make childcare easier to find and help employers offer reliable childcare benefits.

I grew up in China during the one-child-policy era, which shaped how I saw family and opportunity. While expecting my first child, I became a preschool owner in Los Angeles and saw how hard quality care was to access.

Ask me about the moment those experiences led me to build Upwards.
