Hugo Amsellem

I'm Hugo Amsellem, founder of Babylon, a pre-seed fund in San Francisco. I write $150k to $250k checks into founders building hard things in hardware, software, and biology who also know how to tell a story about them. Babylon started when I moved from Paris, the most cultural city in the world, to San Francisco, the most technical one. The city felt like it needed cultural inspiration, so I named my fund after the first metropolis where culture and technology worked together. I'm not technical, but I'm cultural. I help founders find their voice and speak directly to the public. Every month I host a dinner that puts founders and creators at the same table.
