Francesco Olivetti

I'm Francesco, Associate Professor at Universidade Federal do ABC, where I also coordinate the Computer Science graduate program. My research centers on symbolic regression, explainable AI, and optimization, building models that don't just predict but can be understood and reasoned about. Before moving fully into academia, I worked at Tuilux building recommendation systems for e-commerce at scale. My PhD from Unicamp was in AI, focused on missing data imputation and novel recommender approaches.
