About

I’m a versatile consultant who works on complex infrastructure where physics, controls, software, and operations all overlap. My background is in HVAC, energy systems, building automation, and microgrids, mostly in mission-critical and high-reliability environments.

I approach problems by measuring what’s really happening, validating the data, building a model that respects the physics, and then making small controlled changes while watching how the system responds. I treat buildings and energy systems as dynamic systems with feedback loops, not just collections of equipment.

A lot of my work is about finding where the real constraints and bottlenecks are — whether that’s airflow, heat transfer, electrical capacity, control logic, or human processes — and fixing the layer that’s actually driving the problem instead of masking it somewhere else.

I also work heavily with data, software, and AI tools to automate diagnostics, trend analysis, and optimization, especially when the same problems show up across multiple sites or systems. If something is repeatable, I want it turned into a process or an algorithm, not tribal knowledge.

I’m especially interested in resilient power architectures, advanced cooling methods, and adaptive control strategies for large-scale infrastructure, including data centers and isolated or islanded power systems. I care a lot more about whether a solution survives real operations than whether it looks good on paper.

At the end of the day, I’m not really fixing equipment — I’m stabilizing systems under constraints and trying to make them reliable, understandable, and harder to break.
