Brennan Lim

I'm Brennan, a student at Berkeley Haas and an investor working across venture and growth. I invest at Battery Ventures, serve as a venture fellow at NFX, lead scouting at Notable Capital, and have done growth equity work at DTCP where I led a $40m Series B for Cerby. I also scout and angel invest in startups including SalesPatriot, Thumo, Wedge, and Luel, and I write thesis work on AI SOC and AI Agents Infrastructure.

I spent a large portion of my college career learning and exploring how to break into VC as an undergraduate student. It was largely a personal journey with little to no outside help because very few undergrad students ever go down this path. My hot take is that YOU can break into VC as an undergrad student, but the steps required are long and often uncertain.
