Benn Stancil

I'm Benn, founder at Mode and a data-focused builder who led the company through product and growth work. I worked in analytics at Microsoft and Yammer, and before that I was a junior fellow in international economics at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace. I studied for a BS at Wake Forest University and have spent much of my career writing about data, analytics, and building tools that help analysts do their work.

And my hot take is analytics dashboards are underrated performance theater, not truth.
