Bart Decrem

I'm Bart, a maker and entrepreneur who shipped 25 number one App Store hits starting with Tap Tap Revenge and who ran smartphone games at Disney. I worked on the Firefox 1.0 launch team, helped create the Mozilla Builders incubator, and co-founded Mammoth and sub.club to explore better social web ideas.

I've also co-founded experimental labs like BLOCK::BLOCK and The hobby, built early Apple Watch games and music livestreaming projects, and have been an occasional angel investor in companies including MUBI, Hooked, and Tapulous. I'm based in Palo Alto and currently coding with AI on WEBTOYS.

And my hot take is social platforms should pay creators directly for attention, not just extract it.
