About
I'm AJD, founder and CEO of Open Admissions, an AI platform that assesses noncognative attributes to help students find their next step after high school, whether that's college, work, or service. Over my career, I've built and led business initiatives that generated more than $200M in revenue across Oura Ring, ARC Labs, and ViewTag.
At Oura Ring, I was Director of Strategy, Innovation, and Business Ops, working across the company as a generalist during its growth phase. I later served as Chief Strategy & Revenue Officer at ARC Labs. Before that, I co-founded ViewTag, a smart baggage technology company that signed major airlines and built a sizable patent portfolio, and received a $30M acqui-hire offer from a Fortune 500 company before COVID forced its shutdown.
For the past seven years, I've also led Friends For Good. FFG is a Philadelphia-based nonprofit that has mobilized thousands of young professionals and volunteers, and serves members of our community in the greatest need.
Ask me about building and operating early-stage startups, strategy and revenue for small teams, community building, and AI-native ways of working. I use AI across everything I do to move faster with less.
