Forward, Golden State Warriors
I'm Yaxel, a forward for the Golden State Warriors. I was the 11th pick in the 2026 NBA Draft after one more year at Michigan.
I took a unique path: Pennsauken High School in New Jersey, Arizona Western, UAB, then Michigan. Going back for that senior year unlocked a different version of myself.
Ask me about landing with the Warriors at 11 or what changed when I returned to college for one more season.
