Tony Allen
Former Guard, NBA
About
I'm Tony Allen, a former NBA guard and a regular voice on Grizzlies basketball with Grind City Media. I grew up in Chicago, went the junior college route before Oklahoma State, and the Celtics drafted me in 2004.
I won a championship with Boston in 2008, then spent seven seasons in Memphis, where our "Grit and Grind" teams were built on defense. I made the All-Defensive team six times, and the Grizzlies retired my No. 9.
