Pokhara University (PU), also known as Pokhara Vishwavidalaya, is a public, non-profit autonomous university established in 1997 under the Pokhara University Act, 1997. Located in Pokhara Metropolitan City-30, Kaski, Nepal, it offers diverse academic programs fostering innovation, critical thinking, and career-ready skills. The university comprises multiple faculties and schools, including Management, Science and Technology, Health Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences, and operates a teaching hospital. It is partly funded by the Government of Nepal and revenues from students and affiliated colleges.
