Michael Horn

I'm Michael Horn, co-founder and chairman of the Christensen Institute, a nonprofit think tank that applies Clay Christensen's ideas to schools, colleges, and work. I also teach at the Harvard Graduate School of Education and cohost the podcasts Future U and Class Disrupted.

My path started in the fall of 2005, in Clay Christensen's class at Harvard Business School. One day he said he was writing a book on K-12 schools and needed a co-author. I stopped by after class. That book became Disrupting Class, and in 2007 we started the Institute together.
