The Momentum Cyber and IT‑Harvest joint report, titled Guardians of the Machine Age, provides a comprehensive analysis of the rapidly evolving AI‑security market as of March 2026. It documents a financing‑led growth phase where more than $15 billion has been deployed since 2022, with a sharp acceleration in mid‑2024 as institutional investors shifted from seed‑heavy deals to larger Series C+ rounds. Capital is increasingly concentrated in later‑stage, AI‑native platforms that command premium revenue multiples of 15–20×, reflected in median valuations rising from $20 M at early stage to $1.5 B at Series C+. The report breaks down financing activity across 12 AI‑security sub‑sectors, highlighting AI Governance and Identity as the dominant investors’ focus, while Model Security and Model Consumption are emerging hotspots. It projects the overall AI‑security market to grow from $31 B in 2025 to $87 B by 2030. The AIxCYBERscape mapping visualises 397 companies across the sub‑sectors, and the Cyber 150 ranking showcases the fastest‑growing midsize firms. Company spotlights (e.g., TENEX.AI, Aviatrix, Snowfire AI) illustrate real‑world funding rounds, product positioning, and growth trajectories. The report also surveys strategic buyer activity, noting a wave of M&A (e.g., Check Point’s acquisition of Lakera, SentinelOne’s roll‑up) and outlines the broader cybersecurity valuation landscape, where AI‑security enjoys the highest multiples. Finally, it presents Momentum Cyber’s advisory capabilities, proprietary data platform, and industry influence.
