And even with all of that, it took years to connect the dots for my own child and get her the support she needed. So if that's my experience, what's happening to the parents who don't have this training, who don't know what questions to ask, who are told like, let's wait and see, right? They're told that one more time and one more time and one more time, right? That's why we're here. Every time you screen a kid, every time you trust your gut, And you recommend further evaluation, every time you advocate for a family, you're filling a gap that shouldn't exist, but it does. And the kids, they can't wait for the system to fix itself.
