Gary Brecka explains why most people's digestion fails: eating large bites without chewing enough. When you don't break down food properly, digestive enzymes can't work, leading to bloating and constipation. Chewing signals your gut to function right.

  1. Our entire mental, emotional state is dictated by the health capacity of our microbiome. The soil microbiome and the gut microbiome, they used to be very sympathetic. And I think how far we've come from that.

  2. We are furthest thing from that natural world. And that's why we supplement, because growing the most mineral-dense food is part of the chain of creating the best alchemy for people to eat.

  3. I mean, most of us eat like somebody's gonna steal it from us. Big bites of chicken or meat, and that gets into the gut. There's not enough surface area for the enzymes to get around them. And indigestion, bloating, constipation, they're linking it to the food, not actually the way that they ate.

  4. We're taking the information from the food. Our body's learning from it. And so I, I love this point from a gut health perspective is that we have to chew our food.

  5. And I think that's the ultimate way to break bread. What is some advice that you would give to people that wanna start addressing gut-related issues at a Macro level.

  6. I see people chasing better gut health without understanding the microbiome, and I think from my standpoint
