Dr. Ana-Maria Temple argues parents should feed kids only whole, recognizable foods. Sugary cereals and processed foods set children up for chronic disease, not vegetables and fruit. Real food doesn't rob kids of fun; processed junk does.

  1. Remember, parents, don't feed your children anything that your great-grandmother's not gonna recognize as real food. If you can't read it, don't eat it. Myths parents need to ignore, part 1. Parents feel that if they made their children eat vegetables and fruits instead of sugary cereals, they're gonna deprive their children of a fun childhood. Well, instead, if we keep feeding them sugary cereals, we're gonna give them a lot of chronic disease, and I don't think that's any fun.
