Anthony (Tony) Kim

Hi, I'm Tony. I help early stage B2B startups build growth and marketing functions from scratch.

I studied molecular and cell biology at Berkeley before switching to economics. I started out in finance and real estate research. I wanted more ownership over outcomes. That pulled me into startups.

For about a year and a half I was the lead marketer at Cloud Storage Security, a venture backed cybersecurity SaaS startup. I rebuilt our CRM and ran demand gen, messaging, content, and field marketing. Behind the scenes I set up the workflows, attribution, dashboards, and sales enablement that supported our PLG and ABM motions. Traffic to our website and AWS Marketplace listing tripled. We added new logos and outranked enterprise competitors in AI search. Monthly MQLs grew to 30 to 40.

I like working as a cross functional generalist. I'm also open to more focused roles depending on the scope. I've gone from real estate to biology to cybersecurity. Switching industries has never slowed me down.
